- Pro-D Pre-Approval Form: Do you have a course, workshop or conference that interests you and meets the criteria as outlined in our constitution, (Appendix 2, paragraphs 3-3.9)? The pre-approval form is your first step in accessing your annual allotment. (This form creates an approval flow – your approval will be followed by a 2nd email containing an attached (blank) reimbursement form.) Click here to access the ProD Pre-Approval form
- Self-Directed Pro-D Form: Are you interested in improving your current teaching skills via educational materials or observations, in ways that will support the needs of your students? If you need a day of learning to support this activity, (possibly instead of attending Tapestry or PSA), the self-directed form lets us know what you are up to. - Peer-to-Peer Mentorship Form: Are you a new teacher (less than 5 years), or in a new role? Do you have a peer willing to act as a mentor to guide you through classroom management, motivating reluctant learners, maintaining student engagement or classroom routines? You and your mentor may be entitled to up to 2 days release time. Click here to access the Peer2Peer Mentorship form
- Professional Development Release Time Request: Use this form if a} You were approved by the ProD committee to present a workshop during one of our three ProD days AND you are now requesting a date for planning time and/or time in lieu of the ProD OR b} You were approved for Peer2Peer mentorship and are now requesting a specific day(s) to accomplish your focus. Filling in this form will ensure the time is authorized when you are ready to take it. Click here to access the ProD Release Time Request form
- May Day Planning & Pre-Approval Form: This form is for Pro-D Reps to advise us of the planning of in-school activities or workshops. This form is the first step in accessing funds for presenter honorariums. (Each school has an allotted amount.) Click here to access the May Day Planning form
- Local Specialist Grant Application: An LSA is a group of teachers interested in promotion and advocacy of professional development in their specialist area. Once per year, Local Specialist Associations (LSAs) may apply for up to $200 in funding from the CVTU Professional Development Committee to support their activities.
