Vancouver Island Counselling is a non-profit society supported by local employers, unions and employee groups.  We provide professional counselling to affiliated employees, retirees and eligible family members as part of a workplace benefit. Click HERE to be taken to VI Counselling.

Salary Indemnity Plan (SIP)

The BCTF operates a plan that provides both short- and long-term benefits to teachers who, due to illness or injury, are disabled from working. If the illness or injury is work-related, a WCB claim must be initiated. Click HERE to be taken to the BCTF SIP page.

BCTF Health and Wellness Program

The Federation’s Health and Wellness program works with disabled teachers to assist them in their medical recovery and with return to work plans. It is a separate program from Health and Safety.
